Human Flourishing Through Models of Care and Intelligence

Announcing a one year grant from the Templeton World Charity Foundation.

The Center for the Study of Apparent Selves (CSAS) gratefully acknowledges a generous grant of $233,000 from the Templeton World Charity Foundation. Over a 12 months period, CSAS will convene with world leading experts in fields such as AI, cognitive science, computer science, complex systems theory, developmental biology, and evolutionary biology. In the light of the emerging critique and suggestions, we will review and develop the SCI-loop model of the dynamics of intelligent systems, and we will produce collaborative tools for inter-disciplinary, synergistic knowledge flows between science and religion.
